HEMP REALITIES

The benefits of hemp are numerous and much information about hemp has been systematically removed from many written texts since the 1930's. There are copious myths about hemp, perpetuated by governments, relating hemp to being a "drug" crop which are simply incorrect. 

George Washington, the first president of the United States of America, was a hemp farmer and at one time, it was a law that every farmer in the USA had to grow hemp. Hemp was so valuable and could be used in so many ways, it was required from every farmer to grow it so they could pay their taxes!

When people discover all of hemp's uses and the historical truth about hemp, they are shocked that this information has been hidden from them for so long.

In America, the propaganda from the outrageous 1936 film, "Reefer Madness" portrayed cannabis as a "killer weed". It depicts teenagers smoking "reefer" and acting out of control and crazy, unable to contain themselves. 

"Reefer Madness" was quite different than Cheech and Chong's, "Up in Smoke", produced decades later, portraying pot smokers who just sat there, in a reefer cloud of smoke, barely able to speak, unable to move or drive.

The bottom line is, there is so much falsehood surrounding cannabis sativa that it is no wonder half the public says it is okay and the other half wants to get rid of it forever.

In any event, it was my feeling that the Tooth Soap® line of GREEN oral care products would not be complete without one formulation that included organic cannabis sativa (hemp oil).
