I received a free sample of Hairsoap when I ordered Toothsoap
some months ago. I am a huge fan of Toothsoap and when I opened
the box and found the free gift I thought "That's nice, but
I'll never use it". So the Hairsoap remained on my shelf
unopened.
A
few weeks ago I ran out of shampoo and because I'd been working
crazy hours didn't have the enthusiasm to go to town to buy my
usual conditioner and shampoo. My hair looked awful, I felt awful.
I was so exhausted I was past caring so I reached for the Hairsoap
expecting nothing but frizzy, unconditioned hair.
I
am multi-racial and have what they call (in the UK at least),
mixed texture hair. It is natural and untreated by chemicals,
but is dry and frizzy. I was so fed up with it some years ago
I went to see the great man himself, Phillip Kingsley in Harley
Street, London. He is the hair doctor to the stars. I wanted the
best advice so went straight to the top. Phillip was incredibly
nice, and I've been several times since, but he explained to me
that I had to use a mass of heavy conditioners and lotions to
give my poor hair some moisture because it had none of its own.
So
what was the result with just Hairsoap? Hairsoap, with no added
conditioners makes my hair 80% less frizzy and somehow (don't
ask me how), has activated my hair's own natural oils. The very
moisture that Philip Kingsley himself said I didn't have! I have
discovered my hair after years in the hair desert.
This
is how I treat my hair with Hairsoap. I wash it, towel dry it,
and that's it. Nothing else. It now takes me 15 minutes to get
dressed after a shower because I am not having a fight with my
hair. This stuff is incredible. -- Liz Jamieson
